Basic Sciences
In general basic sciences include fundamental sciences such as physics, chemistry, mathematics, etc. Biological sciences are also considered fundamental. However, it may include some interdisciplinary fields. Examples of such fields are biochemistry, molecular biology, chemical biology, biophysics, microbiology, etc. Additionally Statistics and Geography are also considered multidisciplinary sciences. The physical geography part of the subject "geography" is considered science while human geography is considered a part of social sciences.
